The Liberal Democrat vision is for a district that respects our heritage and environment, that is prosperous, encourages business and creates opportunities for all our residents.

We look for a district where all our residents can flourish and feel engaged in the process of making the decisions that affect our futures. The diversity of our population suggests different groups will have different needs and we therefore
set out ideas and policies on the environment and the social and economic needs of our district which we believe reflect those needs.

Above all, we recognise that as councillors we are here to reflect the wishes of our residents and it is their needs and ambitions that will shape all that we do.
