Defend Democracy – Let Warwickshire Decide

We, the undersigned, strongly oppose Warwickshire County Council’s proposal to delay the May 2025 local elections. Elections are a vital part of our democracy, allowing residents to hold their leaders accountable and shape their communities’ future. Delaying these elections undermines democratic principles, silences voters, and imposes significant changes without proper consultation. Warwickshire residents deserve the right to have their say—not have decisions forced upon them. We call on Warwickshire County Council to respect the democratic process, allow the elections to proceed as scheduled, and Let Warwickshire Decide its own future through fair and open representation.
